My Year is Coming to an End....or is it?

So it's been a while, but like I've said before, nothing is really new anymore.  Well there are a few things, but nothing is really that shocking.  So right now I'm at school, today was recuperation tests for kids who failed the quarter, they can come take a test and get a better grade.  However, I'm done with that, and everything else is pretty much done, so I'm sitting at school because we have to be here until 1:45pm.  So hopefully I can finish up the last month and a half in the hour.....with the kindergartners outside doing their graduation...with a clown that is incredibly loud right now....ooooo Honduras.  Okkkkkk, so where to startttttt.......

So Spring Break was awesome, then we had to come back to school and finish up the last quarter.  We celebrated a couple birthdays which are always a blast.  I guess the hail storm I should mention.  So we're in the rainy season right now.  Which means, literally everyday it rains.  So one day, we were in town, and of course the clouds start rolling in.  This is nothing new, however we were caught at a store and it was downpour.  We thought it was the beginning of a hurricane, except we're not on the coast.  So we decide to make a run for it to Via Via.  Wellllllll, as soon as we're like a block, it starts to hail!  Not just big rain drops, but actual ice, hail!  It was insane!  We were pelted with hail in Honduras, while wearing a tank top & shorts.  The Hondurans couldn't believe it either.  Ice falling from the sky, weirdddddddd.  Here's how soaked we got....
If you look close, you can kinda see it on the ground.  Anyways, that was crazy.

Last weekend we went to the Hot Springs!  That was awesome!  I almost didn't go because I don't really care for sitting around in baths, in my filth and other peoples, but I had nothing else to do, so I went.  It's cool because it's natural hot springs.  The water comes right from the mountains and goes into these pools. My favorite was the mud one because with the rainy season, the water in the faucet is contaminated with coffee field run off, and whatevers in the pesticide is not good for the pores, so putting the mud on my face was nice to exfoliate. It was a nice relaxing day!

So those are really the only big events, besides having no power just about everyday because of the storms. This year has gone so fast!  I loved every minute of it, even the hard school days with the kids.  But I got a few letters saying don't leave, please be our 6th grade teacher.  Life in Copan is so simple, so I've decided to come back for another round.  I love how everything is calm, and it runs on my time haha.  I will miss all the teachers from this year, it's never the same.  I'll miss the taco cart over the summer too.  I am very excited to return though!  Hopefully I have more visitors this next year.  Here are some more random pictures of just friends I've made and crazy times.  I get back Tuesday, and I am excited to take a break from life here, but am not excited to go back to the hustle and bustle.  Thanks for readinggggggg!
