I still have a blog!?

Sooooooooo....... yup, back in Honduras. (probably why you haven't seen me in the states?)  Wish I was better about writing, it's just nothings really new and I think I've gotten lazier in my old age.  Anyways, I'll try and split this up and put some pictures since I know you need to know about my life.  So I'm back in the same house, and this time when I arrived they actually took me for dinner!  Have a new roommate since Mandy did not return, so there's also not as many pictures, oooppppsss, but roommate is from Canada, and the smallest teacher at school, which I'm pretty sure they did on purpose but she's great.  The kids this year are different than last and have a little more respect.  It's also easier because it's not my first year teaching, and I'm a returning so I think that gained me some street cred too.
Here are a few pictures of my new classroom, which I think I like better, probably because last year's teachers left me a bunch of stuff so I have more resources.

Threw in a couple of the school in case you've forgotten.....

So school's going well so far.  At times the kids are insane and I have to remind myself they're children.
Some more things about school before I go off and talk about my free time, which sometimes consists of more than just laying in bed.  (which, sidenote, I did on Thanksgiving, literally only left bed to feed myself or steal some paprika from upstairs cause I had a calling for deviled eggs, so I climbed through their window to get it.)  ........... The school actually took us on an outing to the ruins.  It was pretty cook, but since I went last year with the kids, it wasn't that interesting this year.  Not really all about looking at stones and what not, but I got to keep up with my tan haha.  We had Dia del Nino again, well they always have it, soooooo..... Anyways here's a few pictures from that, we got pizza this year so that was pretty exciting!
Here's everything for the kids. Pop, cupcakes, bags of goodies, almost like a birthday party; and then the kids do secret friend where they exchange gifts with each other.
I was in charge of the chalk station.....yea not coincidence, you know I picked that one since all I had to do was sit there and watch them draw with chalk.
The kids got to come in street clothes....they're definitely more fashionable than me
the boys pinata fell off the hallway, and of course they fall down with it to get the candy
the girls are a little better at getting all the candy, but it's still a fight
So then we had Independence Day, same as last year, marching through the streets in the hot weather, here's a few of that......

this is just them lining up....

My student last year, she was Indian Bonita the year before

So after that like 15 teachers went to the biggest waterfall in central america, or the second biggest? it's only 70 feet smaller than Niagra Falls...Pulhapanzak, and it's like an hour outta San Pedro.  It was awesome.  some of the teachers...by some all but me and another, went in the waterfall, I wasn't feeling very daring, and I'm still a little scared from scuba diving in Roatan over Semana Santa in the Spring, so dangerous waters, not really a fan, and I don't regret it, especially looking back at these pictures.
So here you can kinda see the teachers down by a pool of water they had to swim through to walk up behind the waterfall...basically if they slip, they die

I got to be in charge of all the cameras......idiots.....but to their defense, it was still only the first month, they had no idea I would do this on all of them hahahahaha.......
So that was our first outing together, the teachers this year are different than last, most of them are older and have lived in another country or studied/volunteered in another country at one point, so it's cool to hear all their stories.  After the waterfall we went to stay at a brewery which was really cool.  They brew their own beer, which was delicious.  And the cabins we stayed in were nice too, I got to stay in a newer one with it's own bathroom because the boys didn't want to share beds, so they switched with my group of girls for the room, suckerssssss....their bathroom then became outside and they slept in bunkbeds in a tiny room, but it was clean, I think it's called the D&D Brewery?  Something like that.  And then it was for a night, we had Mon and Tues off since the parade was Sat, it was considered a work day, so they gave us Tuesday too, silly Honduras.  So basically I had a week off school because that was the week I flew home for Katie and Tim's wedding!  Which was exciting and fun and I'm glad I went home for it!

When I returned it was games qualifying for the World Cup, and of course Honduras is in it to win.  We got to watch a couple of games, the Canada game, which was a blow out, was cool because there's a few of them here.  In Feburary Honduras plays the states here I guess, so that'll be great!  It's the second round....surprising for the states, who didn't even go to the Olympics.  Then it came time for my birthday.  It was great because this year I didn't have free periods before the end of the day when we're allowed to celebrate, so the kids tried to tell me I couldn't go to the room because it was so much better outside (which is was a glorious day), so I played soccer with the boys in class while the girls set up.  Of course there was pie to the face, but this time instead of them putting it on my face, they basically asked me to just put my head in the cake, but it was edible this year!  haha, so I kinda caked myself.  But both classes worked together and I was thankful to have such wonderful students celebrate with me.  And of course the party with the teachers was a blast, we did trivia, which is always so fun!

This is post cake-ing myself, the girl who took it can write things on pictures, and this is what came up haha
So let's see, I'm finally to Octoberrrrrrrrr......the spelling bee happened!  5th grade did not win, but they did a very good job, I was so proud of them!  Here's a few of those, with all the kids crammed into a small space, yeaaaaa pre-kinder all the way to 12th grade in that little area.  (the kids are my 5th graders this year).

So the Spelling Bee was pretty much a wash of a day, so they made a half day......yea here they can just do that.

Halloween.....hmmmm this year we didn't do anything.  No dressing up, it kinda just snuck up on us.  But that's alright, because now I'm to November!

So we had conferences, which when we didn't have our translator, and even when she was in there, I think I did a nice job talking to the parents.  Definitely can understand just about everything, but the talking just keeps getting me because in English I talk so fast, so in Spanish I wanna talk fast because my brain is going fast, but I'm not there yet, so I think that's what gets me hung up.  But usually if people talk slow with me I can respond easier.

So now it's the last day of Thanksgiving Break, (even though they had on the calendar it's next weekend because our boss who makes it is Canadian and doesn't know haha.)  I'm trying to cherish it, even though I didn't really do anything cool this weekend.  Some of the teachers went to Antigua in Guatemala (what I did last year), some went to La Ceiba (and almost dies white water rafting, thank god I passed on that trip), some tried to go to El Tunco in El Salvador, but the border told them they'd deport them because they're technically, all of us, are here illegally and haven't left for 90 days or something like that, so they came back to Copan.  But we randomly ran into them in Chiqimula in Guatemala, about an hour and a half away from Copan, me and a teacher with her brother and friend went Friday for the day so I could get chocolate chips. It's just a bigger town with a mall.  But it was a pretty relaxing weekend, with nothing getting accomplished except cleaning....went a littleeeee crazy with bleach and now my hand hurts, but everything is just so clean!

3 weeks, this Wednesday exactly, until I fly home for Christmas!  I'm getting excited for that, it'll be a nice break.  I don't really think there's much else, facebook has more pictures of course.....I'm still enjoying my time, and the Hondurans keep talking about next year when I teach here haha, so they've already got it and think I'm staying, but it's too early to tell, not comepletely ruled out, but it would be nice to go somewhere and make some money....of course in Central/South America, or Mexico even.  O! and I've become quite the little cook, I made homemade macaroni and cheese last night and it was EXCELLENT!  My own sauce and everything.  I'm just becoming so domesticated....I need to get a hobby......which I guess will be soccer coach for the older girls, starting tomorrow, provided there are enough girls to house a team....and me and another teacher might play on a women's team in a couple weeks, maybe, we'll see, it's Honduras so some things are just talk.  But don't worry, I still find plenntttyyyy of time to watch/read the Bear's games, that's one thing I keep up with, and will never fade away.  Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving, with lots of food and pie....any extra pie you can mail down here, mails been faster now that rainy season is pretty much over, so like apple pie or something would last I think haha.  See you all in a few weeksssssss!

My Year is Coming to an End....or is it?

So it's been a while, but like I've said before, nothing is really new anymore.  Well there are a few things, but nothing is really that shocking.  So right now I'm at school, today was recuperation tests for kids who failed the quarter, they can come take a test and get a better grade.  However, I'm done with that, and everything else is pretty much done, so I'm sitting at school because we have to be here until 1:45pm.  So hopefully I can finish up the last month and a half in the hour.....with the kindergartners outside doing their graduation...with a clown that is incredibly loud right now....ooooo Honduras.  Okkkkkk, so where to startttttt.......

So Spring Break was awesome, then we had to come back to school and finish up the last quarter.  We celebrated a couple birthdays which are always a blast.  I guess the hail storm I should mention.  So we're in the rainy season right now.  Which means, literally everyday it rains.  So one day, we were in town, and of course the clouds start rolling in.  This is nothing new, however we were caught at a store and it was downpour.  We thought it was the beginning of a hurricane, except we're not on the coast.  So we decide to make a run for it to Via Via.  Wellllllll, as soon as we're like a block, it starts to hail!  Not just big rain drops, but actual ice, hail!  It was insane!  We were pelted with hail in Honduras, while wearing a tank top & shorts.  The Hondurans couldn't believe it either.  Ice falling from the sky, weirdddddddd.  Here's how soaked we got....
If you look close, you can kinda see it on the ground.  Anyways, that was crazy.

Last weekend we went to the Hot Springs!  That was awesome!  I almost didn't go because I don't really care for sitting around in baths, in my filth and other peoples, but I had nothing else to do, so I went.  It's cool because it's natural hot springs.  The water comes right from the mountains and goes into these pools. My favorite was the mud one because with the rainy season, the water in the faucet is contaminated with coffee field run off, and whatevers in the pesticide is not good for the pores, so putting the mud on my face was nice to exfoliate. It was a nice relaxing day!

So those are really the only big events, besides having no power just about everyday because of the storms. This year has gone so fast!  I loved every minute of it, even the hard school days with the kids.  But I got a few letters saying don't leave, please be our 6th grade teacher.  Life in Copan is so simple, so I've decided to come back for another round.  I love how everything is calm, and it runs on my time haha.  I will miss all the teachers from this year, it's never the same.  I'll miss the taco cart over the summer too.  I am very excited to return though!  Hopefully I have more visitors this next year.  Here are some more random pictures of just friends I've made and crazy times.  I get back Tuesday, and I am excited to take a break from life here, but am not excited to go back to the hustle and bustle.  Thanks for readinggggggg!
 Some of the girl teachers

 Emily's birthday
The staff at our favorite place, Via Via, they help us with Spanish
Ashley & mines favorite place.....the taco cart, they love us!  It's delicious, I'm lucky I have a strong stomach so I can eat street food!

That's all for now, see you in a few daysssss!

Folklore Day & Semana Santa (Spring Break in the Caribbean)

Heelllllloooooo! I hope all is well back home....nice & cold today I heard.  Don't worry, it was cloudy today.....but still warm enough for shorts and a t-shirt!  So last week was Semana Santa, which is "All Saints Week".  EVERYTHING shuts down for Good Friday in Central America, ooooo boyyyyy.  So before I get ahead of myself, I'll start with Folklore Day.  Folklore Day is a day where all the grades were assigned a tribe from Honduras.  (it was the Friday before break).  And the 5th graders were assigned Mesquitos.  They are from the coast, a fishing tribe mostly. So all the grades have to build a traditional "hut" called a Champa.  They all turned out so cool!  Also, each class then votes on an Indian Bonita and Bonito.  (A boy and girl traditional Indian).  These students then make a traditional gown or outfit and wear it the day of and then it's like a beauty contest. It was really cool!  My student however fell on her walk across the yard, but she recovered and finished nicely!  The winners this year were both in first grade, Mandy's students!  They were adorable!  The girl is Megan, Mandy's assistant Ffarah's daughter, our Honduran family pretty much.  So that was really cool to see cause her dress cost an arm & a leg to get made because it was literally made of corn and coffee beans glued on.  Here are pictures from the day, you'll flip just looking at the dresses these girls wore!
so this is just a group of teachers in traditional outfits
Here's Megan! The winner.....it is insane the work they put into these dresses!
 One of my 5th graders
 Indian Bonita and Indian Bonito
Our Champa being built......on a Saturday morning, yea we were good teachers & helped...for like 2 hours, we did get a couple walls painted and held some up while they hammered them together....then we left haha
My 5th grader! She did awesome!
The 5th graders did a Mesquito dance, it was pretty cool
 Them dancing still
This was a 4th grader....she lives in La Pintada, up the mountain where we go tutor.  She is dressed as a corn husk doll, that is what the pueblo is known for.  The families make their living off making these dolls and selling them down in town here.  (PS I should mention I didn't really get the doll theme until after the fact haha, but once you see the doll, you'd see it)
 5th Grade boy

A view of all the champas....mine is all the way in the back, the only wood one

So after they do the contest, everyone eats and sits around basically.  I must say I had some delicious food!  Except for the full fish that was dumped in the fryer and then put on my plate....DID NOT eat that, I gave it away, that's what they had at the 5th grade Champa, so I had to get it

So that was all in all a very exciting day!  It was cool to see almost everyone, dressed up and going back to their "roots".  The students learned alot from it, as did the teachers.

So Folklore day lasted until about noon, then it was time to start Semana Santa! (Spring Break) well I started by napping & packing, but all in all it was vacation.  It was a pretty low key weekend, just trying to get to Sunday.  When it finally came, it was so exciting!  So we were going out to Roatan for the week, and my friend Mary Kate came from the states to join us!  So it was Ashley & Val (2 teachers), MK, and me.  Mandy and her family also came out, but a different day and stayed on another part of the island.  So Sunday came, we decided to take the 7am bus to San Pedro, to meet MK and spend the day there and go out to the island Monday.  We decide to take Casasola bus, which is supposed to be a bus, but less classy than Hedman that we always take, and cheaper.  Wellllll it was cheaper and less classy.  I was expecting a school bus at the worst.....nope, we got a chicken bus.  A little van/bus thing with maybe 15 seats in it.  So to Hondurans, 15 seats means, we can squeeze at least 25-30 people onto the bus....which we did at one point. This thing made like a dozen stops to let people on and off before our final destination...about 4-5 hours later. (it's only like a 3 hour ride).  So we were all thankful to get off that thing.  We stayed at the same bed and breakfast we always do, so Luis, it's his and his families place, picked us up from the bus station and brought us to the b&b.  Then Ashley came with to get MK.  Welllllllll, I couldn't remember what she was flying in, I guessed Continental (and was right, luckily) because everything was delayed.  So Luis knew this, and we didn't go right away.  When we did get there, it must have taken forever in immigration because I thought she would have been out, but couldn't find her, thank god for a realllyyy small airport.  Eventually, maybe a half hour later, she finally comes out and we go back.  So she wasn't happy, but the rest of us were for lunch.  We went to Applebee's!!! It was DELICIOUS! mmmmmm, my mouth is watering.  I don't miss food from the states when I'm here because it's not accessible and I love Honduran food, but when it's there, I want to eat EVERYTHING.  Which we almost did, but I refrained.  I only had Applebee's and ice cream.  And got a bagel for morning.  So San Pedro was good, but we had to get to bed because we were leaving on the bus at 5am and had to get to the station early to get tickets.  So we get up extremely early Monday morning.  We had to get a bus out to La Ceiba, which I'm glad we didn't pick there for vaca, it was a realllllll shady place.  The bus was ok, it was in between Hedman(the best) and Casasola (the tiny thing from Sunday).  Anyways, so much traveling, but we finally get to the ferry, and that was the last thing before we were finally on vacation, on an island, in the Caribbean!
So here's the story about the ferry.  I guess the way the waves and all that science with tides and what not go, the way over is supposed to be really rough and choppy, and the way back isn't as bad.  Well first, we go through "security" which they basically just take big bags and bottles to hold for the trip over.  Which I understand now because if people drank on that thing, ewwwww, it would just be ew gross, I can't even describe how much grosser it would be.  So anyway, there are about 300 people in the area of where maybe 50 can fit comfortably.  We're standing, waiting for the doors to open so we can load.  We stood there for a good half hour, it was miserable.  Then we're basically herded onto the ferry.  That was an experience because here there is no personal space, no bubbles, so we weren't even walking, just herding our way through haha.  So we get on the ferry, I decided it would probably be a good idea to take half a dramamine (best decision I made the whole trip haha).  Ashley gets really bad motion sickness so she's still drugged from the bus, MK and Val decide to test their fate.  Well we're not even 5 minutes in and I already knew it was going to be one of the worst trips of my life; and we still had about an hour and a half to go.  I just put in my Ipod and tried to sleep/zone out.  If I had not taken that pill, I would for sure have vomitted.  Val lost that game, he was the only one out of the 4 of us to do so.....with the other 150 people also doing it on board.  When I awoke, came out of the my zone for a few minutes, I only heard vomit and plastic bags (which are complimentary haha) rustling.  It was terrible.  I could not wait for land.  Here is a picture...
yea, the only way to not feel sick was put my hands on my head....and my sleeves, well they're rolled up because I was sweating like I have never sweat before.  Grossssssss.

So we finally land and we get in a cab to the hotel.  Now of course, they had the right idea by making the airport and ferry so far from the vacation part of the island.  Business planning was well.  So the taxi brings us, and we pull up to gorgeousness!  It was a hotel, back from the beach, like a 5 min walk, but we had our own little bay in the back.  I had never seen something so awesome!  Here's pictures of the hotel.
this was the little dock in the back
no beach, but right on the water
our walkway out from our porch
 the name
 our porch
it just looks like it belongs on an island

So we had like a studio, a mini kitchen, and 2 single beds & a double, 1 bath.  It was perfect!  The first thing we had to do was change into our suits and go to the beach!  The beach was SPECTACULAR!  It was my first time in the caribbean and Atlantic!  I am still in shock I was there!

sunset on our first day........now you see why I never wanted to come back?
So those are just a few of the pictures.

When originally booking, we had wanted to stay at another place, but it was booked so we got the sister hotel, which was newer.  So we got to use the private beach, kayaks, and lounge chairs of the main hotel on the beach.  So everyday was so relaxing....except the first (Monday) of course.  There were local children going crazy and playing at our beach....I thought MK was going to kill them, and after a while I did too, I was on vacation and did not want to be bothered by screaming children haha.  But they eventually calmed and left.  So Monday we went out, saw the town, West End, looked around.  If was cool, it was a quite, island town.  I recommend West End over West Bay any day.  So Tuesday came, we didn't do much...hey we were on vacation!  At night, we decided to go for sea food.  One of the restaurant/bar owners we frequent in Copan told us about this Argentinian place that was awesome.  And it was!  I got coconut shrimp, and they brought me out 8 big pieces of shrimp!  It was fabulous!  And everyone else's was fantastic too!  And for being seafood, it wasn't too expensive.  So that was delicious, but sitting in the sun all day makes you kinda tired, so we tried walking around to go out, but we were exhausted.  So we just made friends with a local crab just moseying by, and called it a night haha.
It was giant! and just walkin along.

Wednesday came, and we had found out our fate.....scuba diving would be Thursday.  Wed. was another day of taking it easy, watching sunsets, a little kayaking.  The prefect vacation.

o yea....I forgot to mention, you can go out on a fishing boat and catch fish.....then bring them back & they'll skin & behead the fish, right there for you.  Yup, just right there....about 100 yards away from where we were laying out.  What a pleasant sight.

So we didn't do any snorkeling, well me because I was going to dive, but the water was also too choppy wed. and you couldn't snorkel from the kayaks.  I am not a fan of big bodies of water with fish and creatures everywhere in case you have not caught on.  However I did go into the ocean, a couple times! And jumped off the back dock at the hotel, here's proof!
O, here's another creature we ran into.  A giant lizard!  It was with another, but that one ran away, this one wanted to keep us company....unfortunately
here I go....into the ocean....with fish....believe me, I was out faster than I had gone in haha

So that was all our down time.  Then came the day.......Scuba Diving day.  O mannnnn was I nervous.  It was Thursday.  We were recommened by a couple other teachers of a place on West Bay, where Mandy and her family were staying.  So we went over for the dive in the morning then just decided to hang out at her hotel all day.  Ooooo geeze, was her side gorgeous too!  The only thing was there were so many people!  It was like Spring Break in college all over.  People everywhere!  I really missed our quite side of the island.  But anyways, we finally find her, after we took the boat ride to the wrong pier haha.  Then we walk to the dive shop, mind you I am drenched in sweat, I was really nervous.  I was past all the fish and creatures touching me and onto the practical death thoughts, like what if my tank goes out? Or I can't figure out how to do something or i hit a cord and everything breaks?
yea, if you look close you can see the sweat in my hair and on my shirt.  It was gross, but I don't think I have ever been so nervous/anxious. I was pretty zoned out during the 15 min prep class too, I barely remember it.  But we made it through, put on our wet suits and walked out to the water part of the class.

This was all before the dive.  I look calm, cool, collect, but I was secretly freaking out.  So I'm glad it cost so much to do, otherwise I know I would have bailed after the water class.  The waves were horrible.  We were up to our waist, but when waves came they were almost at my neck, so that means everyone else is practically drowning.  We had to practice if water gets in the mask or how to recover our breathing thing.  It was tough with the waves roaring through.  But we managed it, and survived Scuba Diving! Under the water was really calm, and for the most of it, I could see the top of the water, so I knew if anything happened I would be ok going to the surface.  But it was actually pretty awesome under there.  It was calm and so blue and colorful!  It was like being in a big fish tank!  So many colorful fish....that didn't really bother me haha.  My favorite part I'll remember was swimming through coral.  It was just a small opening, but amazing.  I am glad I stuck it out. However, I can cross diving off my list & never do it again!  So after that we just went to Mandy's pool and swam/hung out.  Heres a picture of the girls at the pool in West Bay at the resort the Infinity....crowded.....
So this was Mk and I's last day on the island because her flight was early Saturday (it's about 3 hours to San Pedro from La Cieba...but that's after taking an hour and a half ferry from Roatan) and Friday was Good Friday.  Which brings me to the story at the top.  Literally Central America shuts down for this holiday.  It is bigger than Easter.  So the ferry didn't run on Good Friday.  This was a fiasco trying to book our transportation.  Luckily we went through a travel place in town, they said well we could fly over to La Ceiba on a tiny airplane, and they could pry get us a car since no buses were running either.  Well, it's Good Friday, no one wants to drive a couple of gringas.  So, this was just a couple days before leaving for vacation, and the only option was to fly back to San Pedro.  So I took a deep breath and paid the extra 100 bucks.  However, like I said before, the ferry was miserable, as soon as we set foot on dry land, I said I don't even care about the money I had to spend to fly back, I never want to step foot on that ferry again!  So we had to wake up early on Friday to catch our flight back to the mainland.  Here are just some other random pictures from the week.  It's one of the best places I've ever been, probably 2nd best!
view of San Pedro from the plane...it doesn't look like the World's Most Dangerous place, does it? haha just joking, kidding......it is safe where I go!
 the teachers in our room
it was glorious to stay in a bathing suit all day/into the night!
 ooooo just having fun
West Bay...see all the people! too much
 love this!
out kayaking....this is why we didn't snorkel

 the girls
our fancy dinner....I forgot to add, it was on the beach!

just pure spectacular....I absolutely can not wait to return!
the boat ride back to West End
our favorite little tiki hut, on the beach

 flying into San Pedro

they had a camp fire! Haven't seen one in a really long time!

So that was vacation.  Except the last litttllleee piece.  Of course if everything goes smooth in the begining, somethings bound to get messed up.  And of course it happens to be Good Friday when it does, when everything is closed.  So luckily, I got my Honduran phone back from Mandy before leaving the island.  Me and MK land in SPS, and are looking for the guy from the Hilton to pick us up.  Yea that's right.....we stayed at a nice hotel in SPS!  Mk was awesome for doing this!  It's probably like 3rd nicest hotel in the country haha.  I don't know that for sure, but from what I've seennnnnnn....... So anyway, the guy is no where to be found.  And of course the only things in the airport that are open is like one little shop and Wendy's.  I have no idea who to ask about a number for the hotel.  So it's like a half hour-45 min we're just waiting around, about to get in a taxi, when I figure out I can read the page with the number on my Iphone still, thank god I gave into the man & got that!  So we call the hotel and they get ahold of the driver and we finally get to the hotel. O my gosh, it was spectacular!  I was in heaven!  I could not believe my eyes, I never wanted to leave.  And the beds, well the bed was the nicest thing I've slept on here!  So we change and go to the pool. Which turned out to be a bad idea because there was some sort of teenage gathering/family party thing, and it started with like 10 kids in the pool, which was not how I wanted to spend the last day of vacation, but then it turned into literally 50 people in the pool.  It was insane!  So when this happened we decided it was time to go to the mall, get my last fast food meal for a couple months, and be lazy in the room.  We got Little Cesar's!  I haven't had that in ages and it was delicious! mmmmmm, again my mouth is watering...probably because all the pulperias, surprisingly close early on Sundays, and we had pb&j on tortillas with a bag of chips for dinner haha.  Anywayssssss, it was a nice end to vacation.  And MK got up early, got to the airport safely and made it home.  While I waited in my glorious giant, soft, comfortable bed, after eating for 2 down at the free breakfast buffett, until 1pm checkout to go meet the other teachers at the bus station to return to Copan.  It was such a great week, filled with memories I will never forget......probably because I plan on going back to Roatan in 2 years.....yup 2 years.  Unless for some spectacular reason I can afford it next year haha.
O! Hotel pictures:
we literally counted all the people....it was 50 if not more, no joke
 the lobby of the Hilton....amazing!

So I know this blog doesn't really do the vacation justice, but hopefully it's some insight to my last travel down here....unless I stay for more next year?? Haven't decided yet, a lot of factors I need to think about.  Anyways, just living the life now in Copan Ruinas.  Less than 8 weeks until summer, it can not come fast enough.  I think time is going to fly by.  There are of course many more pictures on facebook, these were just some of the better ones I guess?  Hope all is well back home....with the bad weather, while I sit around here working on my skin cancer!  See yaaaaaa! And miss yaaaaa!
